At Lorna Doone we appreciate the importance of good food. We want you to enjoy your time with us and we try to ensure we have a good selection of food to cater for all tastes. We always welcome suggestions for new dishes. Many of our guests even email their requests before arrival to make sure we have their favourites as an option whilst they are with us!

A good breakfast is a really important start for the day. . We have on offer a range of cereals and fruits and fruit juices followed by the traditional English breakfast as well as vegetarian options. We also offer Kippers and Smoked Haddock as well as a Continental Option including Pain Au Chocolat for those who prefer a lighter start to the day.

Breakfast is served at a leisurely pace and starts at a leisurely hour as we want you to start the day with time to relax in our beautiful area. If you do need to make an early start please let us know and where possible we will organise an early breakfast for you .

Served from 7.00 p.m.  to 8.00 p.m.

We offer a splendid 4 course evening meal finished with coffee.   For those with a smaller appetite you can choose to take just one or two courses.  A main course is just £15.00.

Our meals change daily and we will always try to include your favourite whilst you are with us. Click on a sample menu using the button on the side to give you an idea about our meals.

Neil is an accomplished chef and can adapt dishes to suit your tastes. With advance notice we can cater for special dietary requirements so please let us know.

Our meals are accompanied with a wide selection of drinks as well as our specially selected wine list comprising a mix of red and white wines with flavour and character. Our selected house wines are available by the glass as well as by the bottle.

If you would like a packed lunch to take you with on a long walk please let us know.  We can offer, sandwiches, crisps, cake, fruit and water - you will just need to let us know the night before to make sure we have everything for you
